Hi, I am Ana-Maria, a lifelong travel enthusiast and the writer behind Ana Trips. I love finding unique places, photographing them and turning the planning side of a trip into something simple.

1. How it started

My first international trip was to Milan in 2018. I shared it almost daily on Instagram, and that is where my travel journal began. Since then I have kept travelling and writing, and in May 2024 I turned that journal into a blog.

2. Why I write these guides

I want to inspire people to discover the beauty of the world and its cultures, and to show that travelling on a modest budget is possible. I work full time in IT, so I plan trips the way many of you do: in my free time, with limited days and a budget to respect. That is why my guides focus on practical details: what to book, what it costs, and what is worth your time.

3. How I work

I say clearly when I have been to a place and when a recommendation comes from research. Prices, rules and opening hours are checked against official or provider sources and dated. 4. Gear

Good content does not depend on expensive gear. I shoot with an iPhone 13 Pro, a GoPro 7 Black and a Nikon D3400.
